Bringin’ Back the 90’s

posted in: Beauty, Fashion, Looks | 0

Ah the 90's... who can forget The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, beanie babies, jelly shoes, or the Spice Girls? Fortunately, there's no need to get too nostalgic because the 90's are back! Well, at least the fashion is. From Timberland boots to choker necklaces, it seems as though everywhere I look 90's fashion has returned and is here to stay.

Ugh, as if!

One of my favorite looks is inspired from the 1995 classic, Clueless. The school-girl meets grudge inspired chic is one of favorites looks. To achieve this outfit, I paired American Apparel over-the-knee socks with a plaid skirt, and a white jumper from Brandy Melville.

It’s All About the Accessories

How much more 90's can you get than choker necklaces, jelly shoes, and lip liner? When it comes to the staple 90's accessories, I would advise you to keep the rest of your outfit simple and somewhat modern so it doesn't end up looking like a Halloween costume. When it comes to 90's inspired makeup, Beauty Vlogger Michelle Phan has a perfect Grunge Beauty tutorial.

Timberland Boots

One of favorite fashion inspirations comes from the 90's Hip-Hop scene. From snapbacks, to flannels, to Timberland boots, I'm ecstatic that this fashion inspired look is back and here to stay.

Last but not least, Harem Printed Pants are a fun, comfortable, and easy way to be fashion forward. I love pairing them with a simple tank top, so the pants are the focus of the outfit.
