Friday Favorites 10/30/15

Happy Friday!

Can anyone else believe we’re actually at the end of October? Let me put this into perspective for you. 4 weeks until Thanksgiving. 8 Weeks until Christmas. Yea. Now that I’ve freaked you out about the holidays, let’s get to the good stuff. Without further ado, here are my #FridayFavorites this week:

1. Beauty Blender

I really didn’t want to like this product. $20 for a sponge seemed a little superfluous when you can get a pack of those little triangles at Rite Aid for just a couple bucks, but the Beauty Blender is kind of great. It really gives you a flawless, dewy complexion that leaves people wondering, “does she have foundation on or is her skin just that perfect?” I use mine with the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and it leaves my skin #flawless. 2. Olyve Flowers

I love a company that takes pride in their packaging, and Olyve takes it above and beyond the call of duty! Each flower arrangement from this Miami company boasts it’s own personality. Lucy, pictured here, (c/o) “is one of those people that commands a room with a single wink and a cheeky quip.” How cute is that? Additionally, anything that arrives with some gourmet chocolates is a big win in my book. Shop the collection at– currently available in South Florida and New York.

3. Sweater Weather

So long sweet summer/ hello, Fall! It’s been a slow climb into sweater weather this year, but I’m glad it’s here. Even more fun, is that I get to dress up Joey Buttons in addition to myself. This little number is from Stinky G and is available at

4. Bâtard

Located in Tribeca, Bâtard is one of the hottest restaurants in NYC. It’s surprisingly affordable- boasting a Prix Fixe style menu of incredible dishes. Unlike most trendy restaurants in Manhattan, Bâtard exists without pretentiousness. The space is small and cozy and the waitstaff is friendly and knowledgable. Each bite is better than the last and the ingredients are inspired. Pictured here is the Maine Lobster appetizer.
