Holiday Gift Guide 2015

At the risk of sounding like Elf, Christmas is my favorite! It's that special time of year when all of your friends and family get together in good spirits to celebrate each other, stroll down memory lane, and of course- exchange gifts. That's arguably the most stressful part about the holidays- knowing what to get each individual recipient. This year, I've found some amazing gifts that the whole family will love.

1. Zebrawood & Dark Sandalwood Watch by Jord

(c/o)

Perfect for the man who appreciates classic style with a rustic edge, this two-toned all wood watch is quite the showstopper. It's part of Jord's Dover Series, which comes in several color combinations. Each timepiece is tailored to order and they offer free shipping world-wide. We all know how hard it is to shop for men, and this watch was whole-heartedly appreciated by Phil when he received it for his birthday this year. Additionally, all of our male friends- no matter their personal style- go bananas over it's aesthetic. Get yours here for $295, or shop the whole collection at WoodWatches.com. Coupon Codes available here.

2. Cheer and Revelry Tea Sampler by Teavana

(c/o)

With super-premium teas and a wide variety of gift sets and brewing accessories, Teavana offers beautifully packaged products for the tea-enthusiast in your life. I recommend the Cheer and Revelry sampler, which includes four 2 oz. packets of loose leaf tea: White Chocolate Peppermint Rooibos, CocoCaramel Sea Salt™ (yum!), Chocolate Chai, and Gingerbread.

Available here for $34.95, or head to one of their locations, where they offer complimentary gift wrapping.

3. Go Dream

Go Dream is a new experiential gift company just landed in NYC from Scandinavia, and offers beautifully packaged gift cards for memorable adventures. Think: a stunt driving session glass blowing class, or expedition to outer spaceEach Go Dream gift card is is presented in an acrylic photo frame, which can then use the frame to house a photo memory of their experience. The recipient of a Go Dream gift also has the ability to switch their gift card with any other experience in the Go Dream portfolio of equal value. So if they’d prefer a high tech laser facial to a day of paragliding in the Catskills, there is nothing stopping them. The adventure awaits here.

4. Ted Baker and Orla Kiely Candles

(c/o)

UK designer Ted Baker recently teamed up with Orla Kiely to create bespoke candles and diffusers inspired by his favorite cities. My picks? Sydney evokes the story of the sea with notes of "ocean air and sea salt," while New York tells the story of the 1920s with an enticing blend of vanilla and cedarwood. Prices start at $47 and are available at Nordstrom.com.

5. FRENDS x BaubleBar Helios Layla Headphones Set

Oh em gee. I won't be getting anyone this for Christmas because I'm (not so) secretly hoping someone will get these for me. How gorgeous are these headphones? BaubleBar, who is known for some seriously trendy jewelry pieces, has teamed up with FRENDS to create an inspired edition of headphones with interchangeable caps. This white/rose gold headset includes 1 pair of headphones, 1 pair of earrings, and 2 pairs of caps. Buy this for me (or your BFF) for $175 here.

6. Brunch at Bobbys

(c/o)

A killer cookbook is the perfect gift for either a foodie friend or a new homeowner, and Bobby Flay is arguable the most well-known man in the culinary world. His new cookbook is all about brunch- my favorite meal of the day- and boasts recipes for cocktails, savory egg dishes, pastries, and more. Purchase yours on Amazon.com and check out our full review here.

7. Hammered Copper Sleeve with Glass

On a recent trip to Williams Sonoma, I was instantly drawn to these copper and glass cups. They are absolutely beautiful and so seasonally-appropriate- perfect for serving warm drinks such as mulled wine, hot cider, and cocoa at festive gatherings. So, who's the right recipient for a gift like this? New home-owners, newlyweds, or foodies that appreciate the finer things in life. Get yours for $24.95 each here.

8. Nars Cheek Palette

Each year, Nars introduces a collaborated limited-edition cheek palette featuring and this year it's with Steven Klein. I purchased one of these pallets for myself a couple years ago, and it's still in business even though I use it almost every day. The quality and colors are fantastic- and it's fun to play with different shades and looks. This pallet features four blushes, a contouring duo, and a glowing Laguna bronzer to bring color in full force. Get yours at Sephora for $69.

9. Himalayan Salt Tequila Glasses

If there's a tequila enthusiast in your life, you have to get them these reusable shot glasses carved from pink Himalayan salt. They come in a set of four, and are hand-carved from salt, bamboo, and PET plastic. They were created by tech entrepreneur, Brett Maker, who decided to create them for his friends for the holidays. The response from his friends was so positive, that he realized he had hit upon something wonderful. He refined his design and grew his homemade gift idea into a business that today offers 180 different kinds of salt from 30 different countries. Available here starting at $28.

10. Bose Soundlink Speakers

Phil and I received this as a gift last Christmas, and for something we never thought we needed- we use it all the time! The Bose Soundlink speakers connect wirelessly to your device (through bluetooth) and deliver incredible sound. The speaker itself, is also wireless. It has a charging dock, but when you're ready to relocate you just pick up the speakers and go. It comes in handy during parties, picnics, and beach days.
