OOTD: The Cold Shoulder

posted in: Fashion, Looks | 2
The “cold-shoulder” trend is *so* in right now, amirite? I was a little nervous to try it out as I wasn’t sure if it would work for me, but I’m totally in love with this red dress from Tobi!
Whenever I wear red during the day, I like to pair it with neutrals to keep it casual. I paired this look with some strappy suede sandals from Sam Edelman and a structured Marc Jacobs crossbody bag. Jewelry included a layered gold necklace and my rose gold Daniel Wellington Petit Classic Watch.
I was expecting some sunshine today and heading to a BBQ style baby shower, so I topped the look off with my favorite straw hat. Gotta keep the sun out of my eyes and off my face!
And speaking of my face, why not match your lips to your dress? I used Nars Velvet Lip Pencil in Cruella as a liner and filled my pout in with Stila Stay All Day® Liquid Lipstick in Fiery.

  1. This is a fab way to wear the “cold shoulder” look, much more classic than the cut out shoulder trend (not a fan of that one!) I think. Only problem is strapless bras are hard! Ha ha. Red dresses are always my fav 🙂

      Strapless bras are the worst!
