OOTD: Green Swing for Spring

posted in: Fashion, Looks | 1

It’s been a little rainy lately, so I was thrilled to step out on a beautiful spring day in New York this morning! The key to dressing in this fickle season is layering. A structured leather jacket was perfect for the chilly morning, but was quickly whipped off as the sun came out. A true New Yorker always sports comfortable shoes, and I can last all day in these Steve Madden booties.

Shoutout to my Instagram Husband for helping me shoot this #OOTD. Photography isn’t exactly this thing, but he does pretty well!
This Tobi dress is perfect for spring and summer. It’s light and airy, and *so* comfortable. The little cutouts are a perfect way to show off those pretty bralettes without looking too Pretty Woman. A structured Marc Jacobs crossbody bag and some classic RayBan Clubmasters add a touch of sophistication while the Nadri gold body chain and rose gold Danielle Wellington Classic Petit add a little glam.

But enough about the clothes… can we talk about this view? I *love* my ‘hood and it particularly shines in the warmer months. I mean… #Swoon.

The Seaport is always evolving (thank you Hurricane Sandy) and they’re doing an amazing job rebuilding our little slice of Manhattan. Recently, they added some pretty landscaping, which included these gorgeous tulips.

  1. A true New Yorker always sports STYLISH comfortable shoes! Love the booties! Haha I also love spotting tourists in their idea of “comfortable shoes” – it’s so different. Dressing for this in between weather has been a challenge, and I’ve been savoring the (sadly? strangely?) rare sunny days too!
