‘Ruff’ington Post Feature

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably heard the news: I got a puppy!! I couldn't be happier with the new addition to my little family. Joey Buttons the teacup Yorkie is the best little thing I've ever laid eyes on. I mean, c'mon. Just look at that face!

Like any social media guru, I knew that I had to make him an Instagram account. With my skills and his good looks, it was an obvious winning combination. Needless to say, @JoeyButtons_Yorkie has gained over 4,000 followers (and counting!) in just a couple of months.

Probably the most exciting thing to come about it so far, is when the Huffington Post reached out to see if they could feature him in their online web series, Puppy's First. Essentially, they exposed puppies to a first experience and documented it to see how they would react. Joey was chosen to participate in Puppy School. Being the smallest kid in the class (he's only 3 lbs!) and a bit of a Mama's Boy, he was a little apprehensive at first. Like usual, he just wanted to stay in my lap like the adorable little lap dog that he is. After some coaxing, we showed off his high-five and handshake skills, and he totally nailed it.

Take a look at the clip below and let me know what you think! For more cuteness, follow Joey on Instagram @JoeyButtons_Yorkie.
